STEAM Education is being integrated into the training of teachers and educators across Europe!
“In a society in rapid technological evolution with a growing need to train qualified professionals in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and to develop the skills of the 21st century. XXI, it is essential to encourage young people to pursue careers in these areas. To face these challenges, an interdisciplinary educational approach is advocated in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Humanities and Mathematics (STEAM), with the aim of removing the barriers that separate the different areas, integrating them into experiences of real and relevant learning. Given the above, it is a priority to train professionals who work in the formal and non-formal educational context to develop activities and products that encourage children and young people to the STEAM areas. In this context, this postgraduate course aims to train educators, teachers and other professionals to develop the STEAM approach based on active methodologies, training them to plan, implement and evaluate innovative activities, resources and projects in an educational context that integrate the STEAM areas.“
