Freelab is a community of creative people. It is made up of a team of passionate people with interdisciplinary interests. Our strength is creative and come from extraordinary ideas that we successfully implement.

We have been operating in Września since 2014.

The goal of Freelab is to develop a studio that give people the opportunity to implement their own projects and ideas and is open to all who need space, tools and technical knowledge.

We shape the awareness that everything that surrounds us can be creatively used, transformed and created. We can create something new thanks to simple or more advanced tools.

The organization is divided into two departments: educational and creative.

The education department is primarily a series of activities for the youngest called “Turn your TV set up with us” and workshops for people who want to expand their knowledge of 3D design and operation of computer-controlled machines.

The creative department is a group of people implementing projects in the field of shaping urban space, using modern design and fabrication tools for this purpose. We also create everyday items such as furniture, lamps and chairs. We print on a 3D printer, prepare files for CNC machines, build our own machines for material processing and combine it with knowledge in the field of programming, automation and robotics.

We also promote recycling and upcycling, we collect electro-waste. Then we disassemble them and use them again, e.g. to build a simple robot.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge because knowledge is limited”
