Academy of Art University’s School of Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media (MUS) invites you to a fun, interactive, and free workshop on Tuesday, January 26, at 7 pm PST. Brad Hughes, the Executive Director for the Academy’s Music program, will share his personal music journey, as well as teach attendees a skill that they can apply to their own careers and utilize to build their professional portfolio. Brad will also do a live demonstration and discuss the skills, processes, and knowledge necessary to become a Music Production and Sound Design professional. Brad Hughes is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, which hosts the annual Grammy Awards, and serves on the Education committee of the NARAS San Francisco chapter. He holds a BFA in World Arts & Cultures from U.C.L.A., and an MFA in Music from The California Institute of the Arts.
