The MakerSpace56 is a popular education association law 1901 created on April 16, 2012 in Lanester following a workshop around the Arduino rapid prototyping board.

This association aims to:

  • To offer its members a workspace and common resources, intended for the realization of projects with a scientific and technical, artistic or cultural component.
  • To promote the non-commercial transmission of know-how and knowledge (for example by publishing the work of members and by organizing actions to promote projects).
  • To engage in actions likely to increase the freedom to use, create, analyze and modify technological objects.
  • To act for the promotion of science & technology, artistic creation and cultural actions by the means defined in these statutes.

In this spirit, we will publish projects carried out within the association according to the principles of open-source.
To join: Come to one of our OpenLabs on a Wednesday evening. Membership of the association (full price 2019: 40€) allows us to cover you in the event of an accident during a workshop.
