Makerspace Ringebu is an open workshop and hobby room with a focus on technology and learning. A room filled with tools and innovative technology such as 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, sewing machines and robots that let you create things in new ways.
According to Makerspace Ringebu, a makerspace, or “creative workshop” should be a place for ordinary people who want to make unusual things! This should be a place for creativity, creative joy and innovation. Makerspace will be an offer for those who have interests that fall outside traditional teams and associations and who do not have any arenas locally.
Everyone has a potential creator inside them and here is a possible arena for making ideas come true. The desire is to remove all possible obstacles between the idea and the product such as nationality, gender, age, ethnicity, knowledge, access, expertise and inspiration. If you are an engineer or like to experiment with Lego – come on in! Here you can test and make prototypes within the new technologies that come full circle with the fourth industrial revolution or as some also call it “Industry 4.0”. Join in sharing your ideas and thoughts! For us – by us!
There, you can work with Arduino, Micro:bit, 3D-Printing, Lego Mindstorm, Laser and engraving and with soldering equipment.
